Militancia Sangrienta
A Skeletal Domain tema a tema.
1. High Velocity Impact Spatter 4:06
3. Kill or Become 3:50
4. A Skeletal Domain 3:38
5. Headlong into Carnage 3:01
6. The Murderer’s Pact 5:05
9. Vector of Cruelty 3:25
11. Asphyxiate to Resuscitate 3:47
Bloody Militancy
The Buffalo ones release a new brand album, full of bad intentions and wilderness, as usual. Let’s talk about sadism, blood, guts and flesh.
But we would not be the page that we are if we don’t make a serious review about this great band, Cannibal Corpse, that once again demostrates its fantastic tecnique and skills.
In A Skeletal Domain we can emphasize a more production than erlier albums. And sure that someone thinks that Cannibal is not the same band that created its first albums, that they had lost their underground style, that sound is not equal than “Hammer Smashed Face”. So, it’s true but it doesn’t change that Cannibal is a very good band with a powerful sound.
A Skeletal Domain tema a tema.
1. High Velocity Impact Spatter 4:06
To say that a Cannibal Corpse song has strengh is a redundancy. The screaming guitars that starts the song create the necesary tension for a song that talks about dropping bodies.
2. Sadistic Embodiment 3:17
Torture , vice and blood is what is talking about this Sadistic Embodiment. Aside from the lyrics, the high speed guitar solo that starts this song is insane and the untireless Alex Webster bass show us it skill.
3. Kill or Become 3:50
It’s the last video song, it seems to be a Romero film more than a vídeo . All kidding aside, the lyrics are a ”Zombie Apocalypse tale”. And musically, the Webster and Paul Mazurkiewicz are awesome.
4. A Skeletal Domain 3:38
This song has is darker than the rest of the CD, Pat O’Brien solo is fantastic.
5. Headlong into Carnage 3:01
This is a Death Metal old school song. With a only one break to make a hiperspeed solo.
6. The Murderer’s Pact 5:05
There’s some melodic Death Metal moments, and some tremolo picking technique uses, not usual in Death style. A Skeletal
7. Funeral Cremation 3:41
This song begins with a discharge of speed and distortion. The album increments it intensity. The songs are more agressive and the melodic parts are darker.
8. Icepick Lobotomy 3:16
This theme has some kind of breakdown (sure somebody will think that is a desecration) “death-metalized”, and this is a fantastic masterpiece of Cannibal Copse.
9. Vector of Cruelty 3:25
A “melodic” song of A Skeletal Domain unlike that we expeted from a Cannibal Corpse album.
10. Bloodstained Cement 3:41
A ”Thrash metal song ” of the king of Death Metal, it isn’t pure Thrash but we can’t deny that riffs and rithms of the track remains some known Thrash songs.
11. Asphyxiate to Resuscitate 3:47
This son has a tempo that it hasn’t near to the old ferocity of Cannibal Corpse but it has a complex structur that deserves a second listeting, it has a two riffs one atonal and one tonal that opposites in the song.
12. Hollowed Bodies 3:05
At the final track, a powerful discharge and continues with a mid tempo and ends with a speedful solo.
